Abstract
Adolescent Suicide Attempts: The Culmination of a Progressive Social Isolation
Teicher J D~~Jacobs J
Biographics of 50 adolescent suicide attempters are compared to those of 32 controls. Parents of both groups were interviewed. It was found that the adolescent suicide attempters group had a much more turbulent developmental history, increased problems with the onset of adolescence, and feelings of social isolation prior to the attempt.
