Gathered semantic distance scores between pairs of concepts (life & death, life & suicide, & death & suicide) from suicidal, psychosomatic, & hospitalized patients. Results indicate that suicidal patients made greater discriminations between life & death, life & suicide than did the other patients, No differences in semantic distance between death & suicide were found in any of the groups.
