Discusses the 131% increase in the suicide rate among 15-24 yr olds between 1961 & 1975, including methods & geographical trends. It was found that the suicide rate for 20-24 yr olds is twice that for 15-19 yr olds. It is suggested that detailed investigations of economic factors, age and race are needed.
