A study of the characteristics of individuals treated for suicide in six Utah hospitals during 1975. The purpose of this study was to assess, by means of a questionnaire, the demographic characteristics of 304 patients to determine selected personal characteristics such as physical health, alcohol use and method of attempt. Also identified: drug types used by attempters and their sources and relationships between a number of the selected variables. (KB)
