Apparently many factors – biologic, psychologic and sociologic – determine whether a person can use alcohol in a controlled way or will proceed to alcohol abuse and consequent deterioration. This study focuses on the effects of excessive drinking among a population of Indian children with ready access to alcohol, to find their pattern of abuse and the clinical results of it.
