Perceived Value Deprivation as a Predictor of Self Destructive Behavior (Micro HV 6546 S53 1975)

Observation of suicidal individuals supports the contention that a generalized deterioration of a sense of “value” in life is extant throughout suicidal populations. This study attempts to measure this value deprivation process using the Smith Value Analysis Index, the Hamilton Anxiety Scale and the Suicide Ideation Index Questionnaire. (KB)
