A study to extend the findings of Neuringer and Lettieri on cognitive style, using several groups of suicidal subjects (attempters as well as threateners), by using both sexes as subjects, by using a longer time interval to test the stability of dichotomous evaluation of concepts as a personality trait and by adding measures of affective state.
