Special problem groups (e.g. suicide attempters), discussion groups (e.g. AA), & insight oriented groups (e.g. analytic groups) are described & differentiated in the introduction & in a table. A suicide group, as a special problem group, is contrasted with other groups. Suggestions are made regarding the age, sex, & diagnostic composition of the suicide group, & regarding the age, sex, function, & training of the therapist. (17 refs.) (RM)
