Salzberg N
Study included a comparison of inmates who had attempted suicide before their confinement with those who had not, using 33 behavioral and personal variables. The development of a suicide attempt scale using the Bipolar Psychological Inventory and the development of a composite suicide attempt scale combining this with the personal and behavioral variables are outlined. The validity of this composite scale was tested on male inmates at the Utah State Prison, who had attempted suicide.
