The overall impact of this adolescent suicide project was a significant increase in all the students’ ability to recognize the signs and symptoms of suicidal behavior and an increase in the experimental students’ willingness to confide in the teacher. With more discussion between teacher and students regarding the subject of suicide, it appears an effective avenue of communication can result.
