The relationship between death perspective and participation in life-threatening and risk taking behaviours was investigated with 3 life-threatening behavior groups (123 alcoholics, 115 drug addicts, & 92 prisoners) and 2 control groups (143 deputy sheriffs & 143 normal controls) using multidimensional measures of death outlook and fear. No relationship was found between death attitudes and perspectives and life-threatening behavior. (WL)
