The emotional patterns of 10 high, 10 moderate and 10 low suicidal and 10 non suicidal women were studied over a 21-day period. The results showed a clear negative feeling pattern associated with greater suicidality and that this pattern did not change over time. The results support negative feeling states in suicidality and the need for active intervention.
