Clinical Observations of Suicide

The paper describes clinical observations on suicide made on the basis of material drawn from the author’s private practice. A total of 33 patients attempted suicide either while in psychotherapy or after the initial exam was carried out. The paper describes suicidal technique, diagnostic evaluations. Implications for management of the suicidal patient in office practice are discussed. (21 ref.)
