Noting that suicide is the second leading cause of death among college students, Parrish conducts an epidemiological study of all known suicides of Yale students between 1920-1925. Factors inventoried include incidence and prevalence, age, sex, and class, place and method, time relationships, diagnsosis, college activities, and areas of stress. Little variance with the age-matched population at large was discovered although no control group was included in this study. (TG)
