Explores the relationship between divorce & suicide. Results indicate that the incidence of divorce is closely associated with the rate of suicide even after controlling for the influence of the effects of age composition, percentage of blacks, rate of interstate migration, & income. Controlling for the other variables, a 1% increase in divorce is associated with a .54% increase in suicide.
