This study presents a stage model of grief resolution (awareness, strategies to overcome loss, awareness of loss, completions, self empowering, transcending the loss) and shows how this model may be applied to grieving children. Physical, emotional, intellectual and attitudinal aspects of the grief process are highlighted, and methods for resolving grief are proposed.(KD)
