Children who want to die

This article briefly reports on suicide attempts by children under the age of 14. Findings from various studies into the rates of suicidal ideation & attempts among this age group are reviewed. The role of the family & homelife in contributing to suicidal ideation in children is explored, & gender differences are also discussed.
