The loss of the parental unit through divorce is a crisis for all families. Pain and adjustment concerns can not be avoided even in situtations where parents and children may later relate that the divorce has had a positive effect on their lives. This article presents group counselling as one tool that counselors in school or agency settings may use to help children make the most satisfying adjustments. (SIEC)
