Describes the reactions of 12 women, whose spouses had committed suicide, to the suicide & to a year-long study of their bereavement. Of particular importance was the social isolation of the widows & their need to talk to someone who would listen. The widows responded positively to being interviewed, but did not like the idea of seeing a psychiatrist or of a widow-to-widow support group. (RM)
