This report deals with the psychologic background of children and the psychodynamic factors of these suicidal patients. Also included is an analysis of diagnostic criteria and suggestions for preventable approaches. The report is based on the study of 15 children and adolescents aged 11 to 21, except one boy aged 6, all from middle class urban families.
