A case study of a female survivor-victim of suicide is presented. Her ambivalent feelings about her brother, his death, & her own suicidal gestures are dealt with. Extensive portions of interviews with her are presented to illustrate her reactions to the suicide, its impact on her life, her own gesture, & experience in a psychiatric hospital. In an epilogue, the author comments on her own feelings about her grandfather’s suicide. (10 refs.) (RM)
