Mental Health Prevention Through Affective Education in Schools

School professionals are being called upon to participate in the conception, planning & implementation of affective education programs in schools. Affective education as a juxtaposition of education & mental health, & as a school-based mental health prevention strategy are discussed. A number of modes ranging from individually centered to those dealing with whole classrooms & schools are examined. (GW)
