Mattsson A~~Seese L R~~Hawkins J W
This paper reports the results of a study of 75 children & adolescents with suicidal behaviour at a general hospital emergency room. Demographic & clinical data of these patients were compared with those of non-suicidal emergencies. Significant differences were found between the two groups along sex & age variables. Offers suggestions regarding community educational efforts towards the early identification of potentially self-destructive children & adolescents.
