Such children express a complex of multiple psychic forces arising from: aggressive drives, narcissistic expectations, archaic superego, withdrawl of libido from objects, alterations of ego by identification, disappointment of not achieving aspirations of ego ideal, loss of sense of well-being or ideal self, struggle with conception of death, helplessness, rebirth wishes, or fantasy reunion with all-giving good mother.(BB)
