This report is intended to provide readers with a snapshot of Saskatchewan students’ health. It is hoped that this report can help to identify areas of youth health and well-being that require attention, as we work towards a healthier province. The SAYCW Youth Health Survey was completed by 9,230 students from 116 schools across 18 school divisions and authorities. However, some school divisions did not wish to be profiled in this report. Therefore, this report was created based on the responses of 8,832 students from 114 schools. A wide variety of schools and divisions are included here, such as public, separate, private, Francophone, and First Nations. School-aged youth who do not attend school were not sampled and are not represented here. This is a limitation given that non-attendees may have different health behaviours, needs, and outcomes than the overall school-aged population.
