This unit of instruction is designed to help teachers and pupil services personnel implement a set of lessons that build on the essential knowledge and skills related to suicide prevention. In order to implement this set of lessons you will need to use the middle school or high school DVD included in the “S.O.S: Signs of Suicide” curriculum. There are five lessons with accompanying assessment components within this unit. Some lessons have multiple parts and can be delivered in a manner that meets your school’s class schedule.
