In this study, 33 children & adolescents who were involved in the death of another person, either by causing or being blamed by themselves or others, are analyzed. Their backgrounds, the incident resulting in the death, their pathology, their reaction to the death(s), & their subsequent careers are discussed. The authors found that many of the children had organic brain damage, childhood schizophrenia, personal experiences with violence, and/or unfavourable home conditions. (VM)
