Isotretinoin, Depression and Suicide Ideation in an Adolescent Boy
This letter to the editor presents the case of a 16-year-old male who experienced two depressive episodes which were strongly associated with isotretinoin treatment. The severity of symptoms, including suicide ideation, required closed ward care. The patient made a complete recovery after the initiation of antidepressant drug therapy. (3 refs.)
