Canada’s rate of suicide is higher than the United States; the current study is part of a series of studies examining the difference. The Suicide Opinion Questionnaire was administered to 2 sample communities – Windsor ON & Los Angeles CA. Speculation is provided regarding why such differences (despite considerable similarities) might exist. (45 refs.)
