ISPCAN Conference

The Centre for Suicide Prevention took part in the 21st Annual International Congress for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect  August 29 – 31. 

Suzanne McLeod presented an overview of our Little Cub: Preventing Suicide in Indigenous Children workshop and showed participants how to create a ‘safety plan’ for children at immediate risk of suicide. 

We also collaborated with our partners at the University of Calgary Faculty of Social Work to have a poster entitled “Associations between ACEs and Suicidality: A Scoping Review.”
