5th Annual Evan Skowron Memorial Golf Tournament

The Evan Skowron Memorial Golf Tournament is played in memory of an amazing son, brother, cousin, nephew, and friend. The aim of this tournament is to raise money and awareness for suicide prevention.

The money raised for this event will go to the Centre for Suicide Prevention – specifically, to education materials that present the most current research in easy and accessible forms for everyone. We have many such publications and are continually developing more; all are available free of charge on our website.

There are multiple ways to become involved with this virtual event. Sign-up as a team to play golf anywhere at anytime until October 2, 2020. The event is free to sign-up but you will be expected to pay and play at any course.

How can you raise money?

1. Find sponsors who will donate money based on your golf game! For example, $2 for each par, $5 for every birdie, $10 for every eagle, and $100 for a hole-in-one.

2. Whether you decide to play golf, up to 70 individuals can purchase tickets for the Golf Tournament wrap-up event on October 2 that will take place at The Trop (1501 34 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2T 2B1). Tickets can be purchased through this page at a cost of $25.
