University of Calgary Students and CSP Organize Fundraiser to Benefit the Centre

A group of Communications students from the U of C approached CSP back in January with a very ambitious idea. They wanted to bring Frank Warren of the famed www.PostSecret.com to Calgary to benefit the Centre! This was particularly ambitious since the date they had in mind was only four months away! The students had a passion for suicide prevention, though, and this helped them plug through until their goal was accomplished! They raised $8,000 in a silent auction prior to the fundraiser, and together with CSP an additional $16,000 was raised in sponsorships, as well as ticket and book sales at the event. In total, $25,000 was raised for the Centre for Suicide Prevention!
